Goombah Free Music for the holidays
Folks, trust me, you should go to our Goombah Free Music Friday page and get today's music. Major Goombah release
Today we put up a major new release of Goombah. Of course it has the usual improvements and bug fixes, and is well worth checking out for those.
But the thing in particular that I love about this release is that now, when you double-click on a recommended track, you can go right to Napster where you can hear the entire track for FREE.
To me, this makes Goombah literally twice as useful. Of course, the taste-targeted, downloadable, iPod-friendly free music has always been great, and that's still there. But the ability to easily hear regular recommended tracks is a huge breakthrough. (There is one caveat: the track has to be in Napster's 2,000,000+ catalog. But my recommendations have been the vast majority of the time.)
